The Zetron MAX call-taking software supports RapidSOS’s enhanced location services.
Through this integration, PSAPs using the software have the ability to query the RapidSOS NG9-1-1 Clearinghouse when a wireless call is received. In return, the Clearinghouse transmits device-based hybrid location obtained from all smartphone location sensors through NG9-1-1 delivery mechanisms.
Locations transmitted to the RapidSOS NG9-1-1 Clearinghouse are not only more accurate, but also faster than traditional ALI location information using device-based hybrid location tools.
