Airwave has launched Airwave Smart Mobile, a communications service designed to meet the current and future needs of public service organisations. The company claims that, for the first time, there will be the ability to connect from a smartphone to a talkgroup on Airwave’s ESN, made possible by the PTT application Enhance through which users can give permission to extend their talkgroup beyond existing Airwave Service users.
