Kathrein has introduced a family of ultra-broadband antennas.

The fixed tilt version, 80010471, is already available and the launch of an adjustable tilt model, 80010621, is expected soon. Further models, including dual-, triple- and quad-band antennas will follow.

The company has created ultra broadband antenna technology which allows deployment of a single antenna, covering not only existing network requirements in the 1710-2170 MHz band but also next-generation networks such as WiMAX 2.5 and LTE 2.6.

Ultra broadband antennas with a frequency range of 1 GHz (1710-2690 MHz) are the same size and appearance of existing highband antennas.

In addition, one antenna for multiple wireless technologies eases site approval procedures and increases flexibility.
