CFIP 24 GHz microwave radios are used for wireless point-to-point data and voice transfer over short distances up to 2.5 km.

Use of this spectrum does not require a licence.

The radios are suitable for building-to-building connectivity and provide fast data speed rates up to 366 Mbps full-duplex with fast ethernet, optical/electrical gigabit ethernet and E1 interfaces. Optical GigE provides excellent lightning protection and allows long distances between the radios and user’s equipment (maximum 10 km).

Other features and advantages of SAF CFIP 24 GHz microwave radios include low power consumption (cost-cutting for solar-powered sites), ACM (adaptive coding and modulation), QoS (quality of service) and VLAN and jumbo frame support (up to 9728 bytes).
