Inmarsat, ITC Global strike deal for maritime customers
Inmarsat and ITC Global have announced a five-year collaboration to offer broadband connectivity solutions to customers in the maritime and offshore energy sectors.
ITC Global will offer Inmarsat’s Fleet Xpress Ka-band service, adding it to its existing Ku-band connectivity services.
Fleet Xpress for Offshore is provided through the Global Xpress Ka-band satellite network and is installed on more than 8000 vessels.
ITC Global, a subsidiary of Panasonic Avionics Corporation, delivers high-speed, high-capacity communications to customers in the oil and gas, mining, merchant marine and passenger vessel markets.
