Australian & New Zealand Search & Rescue Conference 2018

Resilience is critical for the search and rescue (SAR) industry whether it is individually, at the community level or organisationally. It is for these reasons that ‘Resilience in Search and Rescue’ is the theme of this year’s conference.

The 2018 Australian & New Zealand Search & Rescue Conference will discuss the evolution and future direction of SAR in the region and explore the new developments in technology that are challenging traditional assumptions of how search and rescue is conducted. It will also highlight case studies and lessons learned focusing on issues faced by SAR personnel, promote the sharing of new ideas and concepts and review the latest innovations in training methodology. The program will include inspiring speakers, captivating presentations, interactive forums, panel discussions and networking functions.
