ANZ companies shortlisted for 2023 ICCAs

The shortlist for the 2023 International Critical Comms Awards (ICCAs), to be presented at Critical Communications World in May, has been announced.

The ICCAs, presented by The Critical Communications Association (TCCA), are some of the most prestigious awards in critical communications. Celebrating excellence in the sector, the highly anticipated program recognises the success of products, organisations and individuals globally that have pushed boundaries and capabilities within the field.

This year, a number of companies and individuals from Australia and New Zealand have been shortlisted. They are as follows:

Best use of critical communications in public safety

  • NSW Telco Authority: Eugowra/Forbes Flood Response
  • Queensland Government Wireless Network & NSW Public Safety Network: Queensland GWN & New South Wales PSN Interstate Roaming Service
  • Surf Life Saving New Zealand: Surf Life Saving New Zealand National Mission Critical Ecosystem
     

Best use of critical communications in mining, oil & gas

  • Aqura Technologies: 5G Underground Experience
  • Emerging technology, product or solutions
  • Barrett Communications (Motorola Solutions) 4075-5kW 5kW HF Linear Amplifier
     

TCCA young engineer of the year:

  • Vaibhav Kakkar, NSW Telco Authority
     

The ICCAs ceremony will take place on 23 May 2023 at the Scandic Park Hotel, in the heart of Helsinki. Enjoy a reception followed by dinner, and then the unveiling of the 2023 winners at the ceremony itself.

The Australasian Critical Communications Forum (ACCF), the local chapter of TCCA, wishes all the entrants from our region success in the awards.
