Registrations open for ARCIA Industry Gala Dinner and Excellence Awards

ARCIA is pleased to announce that its annual Industry Gala Dinner and Excellence Awards will once again be held in tandem with Comms Connect, on the evening of 18 October in the Sovereign Room of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. As always, the event is a night to network, celebrate and experience all that is great about the radio and critical communications industry.

This year’s guest speaker and MC for the evening is Paul McDermott, the well-known Australian entertainer and comedian who will make sure all attendees have a great night following day one of Comms Connect.

A highlight of the dinner is always the Industry Excellence Awards, where ARCIA recognises and celebrates the achievement of excellence in the radio industry. ARCIA recently announced a revamp of the awards and is excited to see nominations already coming in for the updated categories:

  • Local Manufacturing Award
  • Major Project Award
  • Outstanding Industry Individual of the Year
  • Small Business Award
  • Industry Innovation Award

Anyone can nominate for these awards, so industry members are encouraged to think about those they work with — maybe even suppliers or clients — and recognise the people and organisations that deliver outstanding results.

Nominations for the Industry Excellence Awards close on 22 September, after which date no further nominations can be accepted. Early-bird registration for the Industry Gala Dinner closes on 15 September.
