ACCF appoints new director to board

Following the resignation of Steve Hwang from Nokia as Australian Critical Communications Forum (ACCF) Board director due to a shift in his Nokia regional responsibilities, the ACCF is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Brine from Nokia (Oceania) as its new Board director.
Jonathan Brine is a 30-year veteran of the Australian Telecommunications Industry based in Sydney and has worked across all disciplines in the industry from designing, building and operating all technologies across his career. This has included in the carrier world, commercial infrastructure organisations, consulting and also working for the NSW Government.
He is currently responsible for government and cities business development segment in Nokia for Oceania and is also the lead executive for public safety mobile broadband initiative for Nokia in Australia.
Steve Hwang, based in Seoul, was also involved in South Korea’s Safe Net Forum and the implementation and rollout of the country’s nationwide mission-critical broadband network. The ACCF Board thanks him for his support and contributions to the Forum and wishes Steve well in his new regional endeavours for Nokia.
