ALDB GmbH joins TCCA
German TETRA network operator ALDB GmbH has become a member of TCCA.
The state-owned company manages Germany’s BOS digital radio network, comprising over 4700 base stations and more than 850,000 subscribers.
ALDB GmbH develops its own supporting systems and works closely with the Federal Agency for Public Safety Digital Radio (BDBOS) to bring mission-critical networks to firefighters, policemen, rescue services and others helping to ensure Germany’s safety.
ALDB GmbH Head of Contract and Service Level Management Ralf Weitzel said being a part of TCCA will help the company “monitor new trends and respond with new and improved solutions”.
TCCA Chief Executive Tony Gray added that: “TETRA remains the solid foundation of public safety networks around the world and Germany’s nationwide system assists its first responders in protecting citizens and communities every day, supported by the practical experience and critical deployment expertise of ALDB. We are delighted to welcome the ALDB team to TCCA.”
