ARCIA 2018 WA dinner and networking event

The Australian Radio Communications Industry Association (ARCIA) will hold its annual Western Australia Industry Dinner and Networking Event on Thursday, 15 March 2018, at the Aloft hotel in Perth.

The evening event will run in conjunction with Comms Connect, which will be held at the same location during the day.

Comms Connect Perth will showcase a series of case studies and technical presentations, followed by networking drinks starting at 6.00 pm.

The evening activities will feature presentations, networking time, dinner, drinks and the announcement of the Industry Professional of the Year Award.

Nominations for the Industry Professional of the Year Award can be made by emailing info@arcia.org.au by Friday, 2 March. Nominees must fall into one or more of the following categories:

  • An industry professional who has made a significant contribution to the radio industry.
  • An apprentice or new talent who has achieved well above expectations.
  • An industry professional who has developed an innovation that provides increased opportunity or value to the industry.
  • An industry professional who has developed initiatives in training or similar areas that benefit the entire industry within the state.

The guest speaker for the evening will be Dr Alex Grant, CEO of Myriota, a company that develops IoT products for operation in remote areas by satellite transmission.

Bookings for the Industry Dinner and Networking Event will close on Thursday, 9 March, unless sold out earlier.
