Aussie company tops awards' transport category

The winners of the 2018 International Critical Communications Awards were announced at a ceremony held in Berlin on 15 May in conjunction with the Critical Communications World conference and exhibition.

The winners and finalists in each category for this year are:

Best Use of Critical Communications for Transport

Winner: Radlink Communications for its Aurizon Rail Queensland TETRA system project.

Best Innovation Award

Winner: Smith Myers Communications for its ARTEMIS avionics communication and location system, used to locate missing persons during disasters.
