Australian firm at Land Forces Africa
Australian VHF and HF specialist Barrett Communications, along with its local representative, Global Communications, will be at the Land Forces Africa conference and exhibition in Pretoria, South Africa, this week.
The company says that the African market is extremely diverse at present, with it supplying communications systems to commercial business, police and government forces and to humanitarian and peacekeeping forces throughout the region.
Land Forces Africa will be held from 15 to 18 July 2013 at the CSIR International Convention Centre. The pan-African event brings together senior military officials, government stakeholders and industry in the pan-African defence and security space to meet, share and identify future requirements.
Barrett Communications will be displaying a range of operational VHF base and manpack systems, and both tactical and commercial HF scenarios with base, mobile and manpack applications.
