Looking for work? Radio job on offer
We spotted this job listed on the Computerworld New Zealand website, and figured it would be of interest to a number of our readers.
Here’s what the job listing says:
“Our client, a global data and telecommunications provider, is currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support a radio communications project across NSW. This role will see you work closely with the business and customers to document and design solutions that fit the customer requirements.
“There will be some NSW based travel required for this role so a valid driver’s license will be required. We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in networking technologies such as WAN and IP, however you must be a specialist in radio communication systems.
“We are also looking for a candidate with experience in two-way radio systems especially P25 and/or Tetra. The candidate selected for this role will have experience working with complete radio communication systems and all their related components — including transport, interconnectivity, core sites, and end user functionality. They will have had worked on projects previously implementing equipment and performing site surveys on sites including for the mining industry. Experience with Microwave linking systems, Communications Systems and Power system design will also be beneficial.”
