Mission-critical accessories specialist JUMA Communications joins TCCA

The TCCA has announced that JUMA Communications, a UK-based specialist in professional communication accessories and audio solutions, has joined the association as a new member.

Headquartered in Derbyshire, JUMA designs and engineers its own range of communication accessories through its in-house research and development team. Its portfolio includes speaker microphones, covert and overt earpieces, Bluetooth devices and specialist interfaces developed to meet the reliability and performance requirements of demanding operational environments.

JUMA’s own products are complemented by a carefully selected range of tactical headsets, push-to-talk units and communication systems from specialist manufacturers.

JUMA supplies to UK police forces and supports a substantial customer base internationally across the public safety, defence, security, transport and industrial sectors. Its products are designed for established critical communications platforms while also addressing the requirements of emerging technologies, including next-generation LTE and broadband-based systems. In Australia, the company is represented by its distributor, Defcon Technologies Group.

“Joining TCCA is an important step for JUMA and gives us the opportunity to contribute to one of the critical communications industry’s most respected organisations,” said Andrew McLachlan, MD of JUMA Communications. “We look forward to networking with fellow members, sharing expertise and continuing the conversations that help drive innovation across the sector.”

“It is wonderful to have another long-established family business join our global membership,” said TCCA CEO Kevin Graham. “Having reliable, durable and fit for purpose accessories with clear audio makes all the difference for end users working in demanding business and mission-critical environments.”
