Motorola receives admirable ranking in Fortune magazine
Fortune magazine has named Motorola Solutions in its list of ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’.
Motorola Solutions ranked number three in the industry category of ‘Network and Other Communications Equipment’.
These rankings are based on a survey of 3900 corporate executives, members of boards of directors and financial analysts asked to rate companies in their industries. Only companies ranked in the top 50% of their industry are included in the list.
The nine reputation attributes measured in the survey include innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products/services and global competitiveness.
The full list and related stories are available online and will be featured in the February issue of Fortune magazine.
Motorola Solutions also recently has been recognised on other corporate rankings including:
- Thomson Reuters’ list of Top 100 Global Tech Leaders, which honours technology companies demonstrating a commitment to leadership across eight pillars of performance: financial, management and investor confidence, risk and resilience, legal compliance, innovation, people and social responsibility, environmental impact and reputation.
- The Wall Street Journal’s Management Top 250 list of companies successfully navigating the current business climate, based on five dimensions of corporate performance: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and financial strength.
