Nominations close soon for WA radio awards
The Western Australia Industry Professional of the Year Award nominations will close on Friday, 3 March.
Recipients of the award are recognised for their contribution to the radio communications industry.
Nominees should have direct links to the radio communications industry. They may be from industry personnel, major users or technical or educational institutions who have contributed to the benefit of the industry.
Those making a nomination should consider whether the nominee:

- is an apprentice or new talent who has achieved well above expectations
- has been involved in innovation that provides increased opportunity or value to the industry
- is involved in initiatives in training or similar areas that benefit the entire industry within the state
- has accomplished achievements that benefit the industry.
The winner of the WA Industry Professional of the Year Award will be presented at the upcoming Industry Dinner and Networking Event at the Duxton Hotel on 16 March. Dinner tickets can be purchased here. The evening is run in conjunction with Comms Connect, a one-day conference taking place at the Duxton Hotel in Perth on the same day.
Nominations can be made by emailing info@arcia.org.au by Friday, 3 March.
