Providing radios for road racing
Racing Radios has been named GRAND-AM Road Racing’s radio communications provider.
The multiyear agreement runs through the 2015 season for GRAND-AM and the unified North American sports car series which begins competition in 2014.
“Racing Radios has a long history with both NASCAR and the ALMS [American Le Mans Series],” said Richard Buck, GRAND-AM managing director of competition. “We look to build on this synergy as we take the next steps toward a unified sports car series.”
“We have a long-standing relationship with NASCAR, and Racing Radios is happy to expand that to GRAND-AM and the unified sports car series,” said Chris Thornton, president of Racing Radios. “We are looking forward to playing a role in the future of North American road racing.”
