Teltronic gets Siemens gong
Teltronic has again been awarded Outstanding Supplier status by Siemens following a regular annual review.
Siemens submits each of its active suppliers to an annual evaluation, in which four areas are appraised — purchasing, quality, logistics and technology.
Teltronic is part of the Sepura Group.
All ongoing projects between Siemens and Teltronic for the 2015–16 financial year were evaluated, yielding a result of 94%.
“This status of ‘Outstanding supplier’ indicates that you belong to the best suppliers of SIEMENS SAS Division Rail Systems and Mobility & Logistics,” the Siemens citation said.
Sepura Business Development Director for Transport Felipe Sanjuan Pasamar said, “We are delighted that the success of our longstanding partnership with Siemens has, once again, been officially recognised in this way.
“Our collaboration — which began with our Master Agreement, signed in 2011 — has been proven over numerous projects worldwide, such as Santiago Metro, Chile; Nuremberg Metro, Germany; and Algiers Metro, Algeria.
“This accolade reinforces our strength in both design and engineering, and we look forward to collaborating on many more successful projects — with both Siemens and other global systems integrators — in the future.”
