UK spectrum auction guide released
UK spectrum regulator Ofcom has released a guide to how the upcoming 2.3 and 3.4 GHz spectrum auction will operate.
The auction will begin on Tuesday, 20 March, UK time, and could potentially take a number of weeks to complete.
The auction will comprise a number of rounds, with each bidder confirming the lots of available spectrum it is willing to buy at a price set by Ofcom.
The price will increase round by round until there are no new bids.
The auction’s second stage will determine where precisely in each band the spectrum secured will be located.
