Wray Castle and TCCA launch critical comms training courses

Telecoms training provider Wray Castle has partnered with TCCA, the global member-led organisation representing the critical communications sector, to launch a range of training courses designed for anyone connected with critical communications.

From new entrants to the sector using narrowband to those adopting 4G/5G critical broadband networks and those on the periphery, the newly launched Critical Communications Institute features a suite of specialist training solutions to help professionals understand, design, build and optimise the critical communications networks of today and tomorrow. There are even introductory courses designed to give an overview of the sector and the technologies, designed for graduates or engineers moving into critical communications for the first time, non-technical people working in governments, administrators, and those responsible for specifying and tendering for critical communications equipment.

The focused, practical and highly relevant courses cover the latest critical telecoms technologies, including mission-critical narrowband TETRA, mission-critical broadband, LTE and 5G, tailored to the precise needs of critical industry sector users such as those in public safety, utilities, transport, energy and mining. Courses are delivered through Wray Castle by subject matter experts, and are available for interactive and engaging delivery in the physical or virtual classroom, as private in-company training programs, and/or as on-demand home study courses.

“Expertise in critical communications is becoming ever more pertinent in today’s world,” said TCCA CEO Kevin Graham. “By creating this specific portfolio of courses, we are aiming to increase and enhance the knowledge base across our sector and also encourage more people to become active in critical communications roles.”

Wray Castle CEO Andrew White added, “In an era defined by uncertainty and evolving threats, the strategic hardening of our mission-critical communications networks is essential to national security. Through the launch of the Critical Communications Institute in partnership with TCCA, we are sharing the skills and knowledge needed to build, operate and secure mission-critical infrastructure worldwide. This initiative will help prepare network operators, government agencies and industries to meet the challenges of tomorrow with resilience.”
