Antenna Factor 2.4 GHz WRT antennas with UFL connector terminations

Tuesday, 17 August, 2010 | Supplied by: Clarke & Severn Electronic Solutions

Antenna Factor’s 2.4 GHz WRT antennas are now available with UFL connector terminations.

These miniature coaxial RF connectors are intended for high-frequency signals and the WRT devices use thin 1.32 mm micro coax.

The WRT series is suitable for applications such as wireless vending, security, traffic or power equipment that require an unobtrusive, tamper-resistant antenna solution.

The 19x11 mm radome installs through a small hole on the product and is anchored by a threaded base. An adhesive foam compression ring is used to resist the elements.

The antennas also feature an integral counterpoise, eliminating the need for a proximity ground plane. The series is also available at centre frequencies of 868 and 916 MHz, and 2.45 GHz, with standard coax and SMA or RP-SMA terminations.
