Yageo has released what it claims is the smallest 5320 coupling chip antenna featuring low sensitivity to environment interference as well as less stray capacitance.

The device is supplied with special feed design inductive to higher radiation efficiency, making it particularly suitable for micro communication products that are sensitive to environmental interference.

Suitable for micro portable devices including Bluetooth headsets and smart phones, the chip requires barely 3 to 5 mm in clearance on motherboards.

In addition to its feed design which effectively reduces product testing lead time by less stray capacitance and minimising environmental interference, the antenna supports bandwidths of 2.4 to 2.484 GHz, Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11bgn applications, with an average gain of -5.6 dBi, 50 Ω impedance and a maximum power of 1 W.
