The TSAT 2150 satellite communications network offers remote control, monitoring and data collection within SCADA networks.

Its low cost HUB makes networks of all sizes affordable, even for smaller utilities and operators.

The device is suitable for scalable systems, which may start with a small network and expand to a large one as the network grows.

Due to TSAT's narrow bandwidth and low power output, the cost of the space segment is reduced.

Operating at data rates between 2400-9600 bps and featuring flexible interfaces and protocol options, the network is for collecting and distributing data in SCADA applications such as: automated meter reading, substation automation, automatic switching operations, earth fault detection and transformer monitoring. In the oil and gas industries it can control pump and valve control, flow measurements, pressure and temperature monitoring, leak detection, corrosion monitoring while river, dam and reservoir level control, water flow and flood warning/alarm systems can also be monitored.

Rainfall, wind, temperature, atmospheric pressure, pollution/gas detection and earthquake can also be logged.
