Trio ER45e compact remote full and half duplex radio

An ethernet version of the E-series, the ER45e is a compact remote full and half duplex radio. It is a professional range designed to provide system solutions for wireless data communications in a variety of industries and applications.

The radio has all the features of the company’s E-series including flexible user-configuration options that permit operation with most host systems and remote equipment in the SCADA market.

With full duplex operational mode and features such as ChannelShare and Multistream and now ethernet, the device is claimed to be the complete radio modem. With full backward compatibility, it can be directly added to an existing E-series system, providing easy installation for expansion and replacement.

E-series radio solutions can be rapidly deployed as a permanent or temporary alternative to cable-based circuits. Cable-based circuits can be costly to install and inflexible to alter. With the ever-increasing complexity of systems, radio offers the flexibility to adapt and grow.

The radio family represents a suite of ethernet-capable, narrow band, 380-520 MHz licensed data radios that provide a transparent asynchronous serial and/or ethernet data path between a master control application, eg SCADA and terminal application equipment (RTU or PLC), at one or more remote sites.
