The Turkish National Police Intelligence Department has been equipped with Hytera covert radios.

The Turkish National Police Intelligence Department is an important part of the country's national police force, and is primarily responsible for the national security intelligence of Turkey, in which confidentiality in communications is vital.

To ensure confidentiality and security during critical missions, the department decided to upgrade its communication equipment with slim, more portable, covert radios. The Hytera X1e DMR digital covert radio was chosen.

With a body only 18 mm thin, Hytera claims the X1e is the world’s thinnest and smallest full-power digital portable radio, making it easy to carry and use. It has advanced AES digital encryption, IP67 compliance, and discreet communication with covert accessories.

Hytera also supplied the SmartDispatch DMR dispatching system so as to achieve accurate locating and tracking.

Officers of Turkish National Police Intelligence Department were given training by Hytera, during which the X1p ultra-thin, full-power keypad DMR radio was also introduced, generating great interest from the officers.
