EMI Stream can suppress undesirable electromagnetic radiation of electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated from printed circuit boards.
At the placement design stage (pre-routing), it examines optimal placement for parts by using imaginary routing and verifies the effects of the proposed EMI solution.
It can also suppress resonance which occurs between the power and ground planes by analysing the resonance which occurs by changing the locations of capacitors.
By eliminating the causes of unnecessary electromagnetic radiation from the initial design stage, it reduces the time needed for revision after the prototype is developed.
The tool uses the design data for printed circuit boards and performs checks on items that cause EMI. There are no unexpected setbacks because these checks are performed automatically.
It has tapped into the EMI design techniques that have been passed down over the years and carefully selected items that have theoretical support and includes more effective check items based on the latest research.
For threshold values that are set for individual check items, it calculates optimal values from theoretical and actual measurement verifications and provides the values as defaults.
