Laird Technologies has announced a range of RF modules for 2.4 GHz radios.

The LT2510 is a fifth-generation FHSS module based on FlexRF.

Embedded with the company’s server-client protocol, the device permits each module to communicate with any other in-range module for true peer-to-peer operation. Out-of-range modules can be reached via meshing.

With over 150 Kbps throughput in half-duplex mode, the module delivers speedy data rates. In addition, variable output power options (up to 1 W) enable communication over distances that are not normally achievable.
