MACOM Technology Solutions’ MAAL-010528 is a high-performance X-band GaAs low-noise amplifier that operates from 8 to 12 GHz. It provides a nominal gain of 20 dB with good gain flatness, OIP3 linearity of +26 dBm, single 4 V bias at 60 mA and a noise figure of 1.6 dB at 10 GHz.
The device features a self-bias architecture that requires only a single, positive supply. It is internally matched to 50Ω input/output and is versatile for multiple applications, including VSAT, radar and microwave radios. It comes in a lead-free, 3 x 3 mm, 16-lead PQFN surface mount plastic package.
