The 3500A is claimed to be the industry’s first 1 GHz handheld radio test set.
Packaged in a new cast magnesium alloy case, it is rugged and portable. Not only does it operate over 2 MHz – 1 GHz, it can also test the antenna cables for VSWR, DTF and return loss.
It also has the capability of performing P25/AM/FM transmitter and receiver tests, whether on a bench, installed in a vehicle or in some remote location.
The series now includes a tracking generator option with spans from 10 kHz to 998 MHz.
