Anritsu says its ME7873L RF conformance test system (RFCT) has become the first to achieve GCF test case approvals for 80% of LTE terminal RF test cases required for terminal certification.
Long term evolution is a high-speed wireless service offering data speeds five to 10 times faster than current 3G mobile communications.
The company’s ME7873L RFCT received the GCF validation for the initial group of RF test cases at the recent GCF meeting making the test system the first for RF conformance tests to offer all the test cases included in this GCF milestone and approved by GCF.
Additionally, the GCF validated test cases include covering the RRM test - claimed to mark another world first. In addition to its conformance test, the company offers LTE protocol conformance tests to satisfy the requirements for GCF certification testing.
