The ethernet tester enables field technicians to perform RFC 2544 measurements and EtherSAM (ITU-T Y.156sam) for turnkey deployment, validation and troubleshooting of 10 Gbps access and metro ethernet services with ease in any environment. The unit features a large TFT screen with simple configuration via hybrid touch-screen/keypad navigation, as well as clear notifications for accurate interpretation of test results.

Key features include: accelerate ethernet service activation with bidirectional EtherSAM (ITU-T Y.1564) and RFC 2544 test suites; multistream traffic generation; through mode; and bit-error-rate (BER) testing.
