The Megger DLRO 10X Microhmmeter has been introduced into TechRentals’ rental fleet.

The instrument is suitable for low resistance measurement and is fully automated and selects the most suitable test current up to 10 ADC to measure resistance from 0.1 µΩ to 2000 Ω, on one of seven ranges.

The lightweight instrument uses a menu system controlled by a two-axis paddle to allow the user to manually select the maximum test current.

Features of the instrument include auto current reversal to cancel standing emfs, auto-detection of continuity in potential and current connections, multiple operating modes, alphanumeric keypad for entering test notes and user-selectable high and low limits.

The instrument provides protection to 600 V and uses the four-terminal resistance method, which shows the true resistance of the item under tests. It also automatically applies forward and reverse currents which cancel out any standing voltages across the sample under test.
