Rohde & Schwarz FSVR real-time spectrum analyser

The FSVR combines a full-featured signal and spectrum analyser with a real-time spectrum analyser. It provides all the capabilities and features that modern test and measurement instruments of this kind have to offer. In real-time operation, the instrument seamlessly measures and displays the spectrum in the time domain with a span of up to 40 MHz (to 110 GHz using external mixers). As a result, it captures every event for analysis, no matter how brief that event might be.

It has a large I/Q memory depth and is simple and intuitive to operate by means of a touch screen giving fast access to important functions, including built-in help and undo/redo functions. The full-featured analyser has a frequency sweep across the entire range from 10 Hz to 30 GHz in just a few milliseconds. At the lower frequencies of up to 7 GHz, it has high-level measurement accuracy.

The unit has power measurement functions and statistical evaluations for analysis of digitally modulated signals and features versatile marker and trace evaluation functions; measurement software for determining noise figure or phase noise; and general vector signal analysis and special analysis options for GSM/EDGE, WCDMA/HSPA+, LTE, WiMAX, WLAN as well as analog modulation methods.

The instrument has on-site retrofitting. It has easy scalability to handle application-specific requirements, and is always up to date with firmware updates.
