PLBs win approval

Friday, 08 June, 2007

Australia's GME has international approval of its MT410 series of personal locator beacons (PLBs).

Using the same technology as the MT400 EPIRB, the MT410 and MT410G AccuSat PLBs are the latest extension to GME's family of safety products.

The PLBs are available in two formats: the MT410, a standard 406/121.5 MHz beacon, or the MT410G, featuring an integrated 16-channel GPS receiver for sub -100 m satellite detection accuracy.
