Berkeley Varitronics Yellowjacket b/a/n/g tablet analyser updated

Tuesday, 08 December, 2009 | Supplied by: Pacific Satellite Pty Ltd

Berkeley Varitronics Systems has updated its Yellowjacket b/a/n/g tablet analyser for 802.11n Wi-Fi networks.

The standard has advantages over the previous 802.11b and 802.11g standards in that it has added multiple-input multiple-output and 40 MHz channels to the physical layer. MIMO uses multiple antennas that provide more information over that of a single antenna. The use of antenna diversity and spatial multiplexing improve performance.

The analyser along with Swarm mapping software provides Wi-Fi measurements making it a single tool.
