5x5: The Public Safety Innovation Summit

5x5 ― the confirmation of a strong and clear signal. In 2023, it will also be a gathering place to drive public safety communications forward.

NIST PSCR and the First Responder Network Authority are hosting the event, bringing together public safety, academia, government and industry leaders to discuss the current state of public safety communications technology and drive advancements in research, development and deployment.

5x5 will feature:

• Innovations in public safety communications technology.
• A variety of session types including plenary, campfire-style discussions and fireside chats.
• Technology demonstrations from PSCR and FirstNet Authority staff, award recipients and external partners.
• A half-day program on 30 June for emergency management and technology road-mapping workshops.
• Opportunities for collaboration and engagement with leaders in public safety communications technology research, development, deployment and usage.
