GSW1 GSM/GPRS modem

Glyn's GSW1 card is a GSM/GPRS modem solution based on the Telit GE864-QUAD PY modem, and is suitable for low- to medium-volume M2M applications.

The card comes with Python scripting where customer application programs can be stored inside the modem. The RoHS-compliant card also has a board-to-board 2.54 mm connector for easy interfacing. It is directly controlled by a standard serial RS232 interface and offers a board power supply voltage range of 5-14 VDC.

The device has a power consumption of 4 mA while idle and 700 mA at maximum operation, with a supply voltage range of 5-14 VDC. Operational temperature ranges from -20 to 70°C.

With dimensions of 52 x 40 x 6 mm, it weighs 35 g. Quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) EGSM support is also featured.
