ACRNA's 2019 conference coming up in October
The Australian Control Room Network Association (ACRNA) 2019 Conference will be held from 29–31 October at the Rendezvous Grand Hotel in Flinders Street, Melbourne.
A significant contributor to the conference will be Professor Mark Wiggins from Macquarie University, whose team works on how people learn and how the learning process is relevant to control room operations.
The conference is still being developed with the input and participation of the ACRNA membership. The conference subcommittee is seeking presenters, site visit hosts and ideas for topics. Suggestions can be made via the feedback form on the ACRNA website.
The venue is centrally located, with costs including all daily meals and evening drinks expected to come in at around $700–$800 per person for the full three days. The precise cost will be announced when registrations open.
Keep an eye on the ACRNA website for more details as they are announced.
