Anritsu's Ian Fraser to retire

Thursday, 05 November, 2015

After almost 20 years as country manager of Anritsu in Australia, communications, test and measurement veteran Ian Fraser has announced that he will retire at the end of 2015.

His successor will be Frank Karalis, who has been with Anritsu for more than five years. Karalis’s focus during that time has been on developing Anritsu’s business in the telecommunications sector. The company will be seeking a replacement to fill Karalis’s previous role in the near future.

According to Karalis, while transitions in the industry present challenges for all suppliers of technology, he believes that Anritsu is well prepared with budding solutions for what will be an immense array of 5G and IoT applications in the future.

In other news, Anritsu will move from its current head office in Notting Hill to new premises in nearby Mount Waverley, Victoria, early in the new year.

Anritsu Corporation is this year celebrating the 120th anniversary of its foundation in 1895.
