ARCIA event: Ergon’s Andrew Deme to speak

ARCIA has announced that the guest speaker for its Queensland ‘Winter Warmer’ Industry Cocktail Event on 2 August 2013 will be Andrew Deme, Group Manager Telecommunications, Asset Management, Ergon Energy.

In his role as General Manager of Telecommunications, Andrew Deme leads the strategic development and implementation of telecommunications strategy for Ergon Energy. Ergon is a multibillion-dollar, government-owned corporation which delivers electricity to over 700,000 customers across a vast operating area of over one million square kilometres - around 97% of the state of Queensland.

Andrew has been responsible for the successful establishment of Nexium Telecommunications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ergon Energy as well as large-scale backhaul, P25 two-way radio and cellular projects supporting the management of the electricity network for Ergon Energy.
