ARCIA final Lunchtime Learning session for 2021

The final webinar session run by the Australian Radio Communications Industry Association will be held next Wednesday, 8 December. It will start at 1 pm and run for just 45 minutes.

The subject will be basic radio theory and antenna fundamentals. John Whittaker will outline the basic information regarding antennas, how they work, the different types of antennas and the characteristics of the cables that are used to feed them.

This is the last educational session ARCIA will run for 2021 as part of its refresher courses on radio basics or introductions to the industry for newcomers to the field.

John Whittaker is general manager at Philcomm and has 44 years’ experience in the two-way radio industry.
