Australian company exhibits at AIDEX
Leaders in the international humanitarian and aid industry came together at the AiDEX event in Brussels, Belgium on 13 and 14 November.
AidEx is a leading international humanitarian and development aid event held every year in Brussels. It brings together the most important organisations and companies working in this industry, to discuss the efficient delivery of aid around the world.
Perth-based Barrett Communications exhibited at the event and showcased its range of HF communications equipment. Since 2000, Barrett has provided in excess of 25,000 HF radio systems and equipment to humanitarian and peacekeeping forces in Africa, Asia, South America and the Middle East.
Visitors to the Barrett stand were able to view the range of HF equipment in mobile and manpack configurations, including the 2018 Magnetic Loop Antenna, which is an NVIS antenna used to overcome the typical HF limitations in mountainous terrain or over short distances.
