Barrett acquires HAL Communications
Barrett Communications Pty Ltd has reached an agreement to acquire the US-based company HAL Communications. The acquisition is scheduled for completion on 7 December 2012.
HAL develops and manufactures hardware and software data communication products used in high-frequency radio networks covering large geographic areas.
Barrett managing director Greg O’Neill said, “Barrett has been looking closely at suitable acquisitions for some time and we believe that HAL will complement our existing business and provide opportunities for expansion in a wide range of markets.”
Barrett will operate HAL as a stand-alone business unit and will use it as the foundation for further growth.
