C4i offered commercialisation grant
C4i has received a $2.2 million commercialisation grant as part of the Priority Industry Capability program from the Australian Department of Materiel Organisation. This grant, which is dollar for dollar matched, allows the company to apply further $4.4 million in development of its VoIP technology.
"This is an investment in cutting edge defence technologies developed here in Australia" said Mr Claire, minister for Defence Materiel Organisation. "It involves defence working directly with some of Australia's most innovative defence companies to develop technologies for the defence force."
The grant allows the company to accelerate development of its SwitchplusIP technology in areas aligned with Australian Defence priorities.
The project's aim is to develop and enhance, under the SwitchplusNG program, a number of sub systems: communications simulator; high availability communications; multidomain secure interface units; and multipurpose gateways.
