New digital technologies will come under close scrutiny when the CCTV Forum meets in Sydney on 9 and 10 November.

One of the highlights of the forum will be a look at a move towards setting up Australian digital CCTV standards.

Keynote speakers are Vlado Damjanovski, who is the author of CCTV - Digital and Networking Technologies and Chris Cubbage, who is a security and investigations specialist.

The forum will include case studies on CCTV approaches and technologies, an update on the best practices in CCTV and surveillance, and discussions on designing, installing and troubleshooting analog and digital systems. There will also be opportunities for delegates to network and learn about education and certification in the industry.

The event is being held at the Marriott hotel in Sydney and is being presented by IDC Technologies.
