Critical Communications World 2013

Friday, 19 April, 2013

There are only five weeks to go until Critical Communications World (21-24 May 2013) opens its doors in Paris. This will be the largest exhibition in the event’s 15-year history (click here for the full exhibitor list), providing access to learning and networking opportunities for the international TETRA and critical communications community.

Some of the most valuable and interesting information shared at the conference is through the interactive panel discussions. Last year’s event saw particularly lively debates around TETRA network investment, application development, and short- and long-term opportunities for TETRA and control room communications.

This year’s program features eight panel discussions and interviews, each of which will delve deep into user requirements from all sectors, now and in the future. Attendees will have access to all of the following discussions and the opportunity to pose questions to panellists:

  • Strategies for success - best practice strategies for large-scale event planning
  • Cross-border TETRA communication is happening - evaluating the project to connect DNK and MSB
  • Mission-critical mobile broadband network implementation strategies - assessing options for delivering LTE
  • Is a single global standard for mission-critical mobile broadband possible? - gathering the international perspective
  • Addressing the fundamental issue of spectrum for mission-critical broadband
  • Understanding and adopting the mobile broadband requirements of the non-public safety community
  • Evaluating the possibilities for mission-critical applications - now and in the future
  • Evolving control room communications - optimising the interaction between the field and control rooms
