Handheld energy analyser for rent
Livingston has available the Fluke 437 Series II handheld energy analyser to rent through its Europe-wide supply chain.
Supporting 400 Hz operation, it is suitable for aerospace, defence and other space-constrained, mission-critical applications, which often need to use higher power frequencies so that the transformers and motors specified can be smaller and lighter.
Featuring power quality functionality, the analyser makes use of the unified power management algorithm, allowing accurate measurement of energy losses in electrical systems through the presence of harmonics and unbalance issues.
With up to 10 power quality parameters displayed simultaneously on screen, it can record 150 different parameters in total - allowing the sources of power wastage within a system to be pinpointed and quantified.
The PowerWave fast capture function displays waveforms and half-cycle RMS voltage and current values in full detail to measure interactions during switching operations, thereby preventing motor, drive and load mismatches in power distribution equipment and switch gear.
The analyser is supplied in a compact, lightweight, rugged enclosure, suited to use out in the field. An operational temperature range of 0 to +40°C is supported, with an extended range version covering +40 to +50°C also provided. It is fully compliant with the IEC 61000-4-30 Class-A standard.
