Industry leaders to headline Comms Connect Melbourne 2022

The initial release of the Comms Connect Melbourne 2022 conference program features some of the region’s leading critical communications and public safety experts, covering all the hot topics facing the sector, both locally and across the globe.

Program highlights for the conference, held 8–10 March next year, include: Microsoft’s Azure Space lead for Australia; Lynn McDonald on how space-enabled tech will drive critical comms and 5G innovation; Resilience NSW Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons AFSM on the future of disaster management; Neal Richardson, Strategy Manager for the Public Safety Network NZ, with a panel featuring their emergency services leaders on how NZ’s new unified entity came to be; CEO of FirstNet USA, Ed Parkinson, with a global public safety update; plus an Australian-first State of the Industry leadership panel.

The program also features case studies and technical presentations on hot industry topics such as: cybersecurity, private 5G networks, drones for critical comms, smart city infrastructure planning, alongside standards and regulatory updates.

Also featuring will be pre-conference workshops, training courses and industry ‘Town Hall’ sessions presented by ACCF/TCCA and ARCIA.

Early bird registrations for the conference and pre-conference sessions open next week and sponsorship and exhibition space is filling fast.

This event is set to celebrate a much anticipated move back to live events and the program will ensure its usual high quality of delegates and visitors.
