National Wireless brings Mobile Tornado's comms platform to ANZ

National Wireless, a provider of wireless communications solutions across Australia and New Zealand, and Mobile Tornado, a global specialist in push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) and mission-critical communications technology, have announced a new partnership which will see National Wireless become the exclusive distributor of Mobile Tornado’s full communications platform across the Australian and New Zealand markets. National Wireless is currently working to engage with a network of resellers or large owner-operators to distribute Mobile Tornado software.

The partnership brings together National Wireless’s expertise in PoC technology, along with its experience designing and delivering wireless communications infrastructure, with Mobile Tornado’s extensive solution capability spanning everyday PoC communications through to mission-critical, 3GPP-standards-based push-to-talk. Customers across Australia and New Zealand will gain access to Mobile Tornado’s full suite of applications — including core voice, messaging and video, lone worker safety, GPS tracking, dispatch and incident management — as well as its newly launched mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) offering, built to the 3GPP mission-critical standard for organisations with the most demanding communication requirements.
